The Elon School is a college-preparatory independent day school located in Elon, North Carolina. Founded in 2006, Elon has a growing enrollment of 107 students, with an average class size of 11. The Elon School's mission is to educate the whole student by instilling personal integrity, stimulating intellectual curiosity, and developing social responsibility. Evidence of this is found in the student-led Honor Council, the many community service endeavors in which students participate and the fact that 100 percent of TES graduates are accepted into four-year colleges and universities. The Elon School participates in the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association and has field teams in soccer, basketball, tennis, swimming, volleyball and golf. Fine and performing arts are also a major component, with most students taking multiple arts courses through their career.
The Elon School welcomes students who demonstrate the ability to succeed in a college preparatory program. The admissions process is designed to seek motivated and talented students with diverse backgrounds, varied experiences and a respect for community who will contribute to the strength and energy of the school environment.
