Fun Fourth Festival

Winston-Salem

Independence Day in Old Salem

Special music, reading of the Declaration of Independence and games. Admission. 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. www.oldsalem.org.

Independence Day Celebration at Bethabara Park

Hay rides, Uncle Sam on stilts, dance around the liberty pole.

The street party of the Triad celebrates its 10-year birthday celebration. Free.
