Share Your Love of the North Carolina Zoo by Sharing Your Favorite Zoo Photos

Show the world how much you love the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro — share your love by submitting your favorite photographs taken at the zoo to the “Share Your Love” photo competition.

Photos may be entered into the competition by using hashtag #LoveNCZoo and publicly posting them to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram by midnight Feb. 14. Visit for more information.

Award-winning photographer and zoo employee John Ireland will serve as judge for the contest. Winners will be announced Feb. 17. The contest winner will receive a one-year family membership to the North Carolina Zoo, compliments of the North Caroilna Zoo Society. The second-place winner will receive a family four-pack of North Carolina Zoo tickets, and the third-place winner will receive the North Carolina Zoo Society’s 2017 “Tons of Love” Adopt package, which includes an 8-inch plush elephant, chocolate and an adoption certificate. The top three winning photos will be posted on the North Carolina Zoo’s website and social media accounts.
