Winston-Salem Youth Chorus Holding Auditions

Children in grades 3-12 can audition for the 2017 winter/spring semester of the Winston-Salem Youth Chorus on Monday, Dec. 5 and Wednesday, Dec. 7.

The chorus has 85-100 members in four ensembles representing more than 40 schools in Forsyth and surrounding counties, and the next season kicks off Jan. 2. Members learn vocal technique, theory, singing in other languages, discipline, confidence and teamwork while performing. They also collaborate with the UNCSA, The WS Symphony, Piedmont Wind Ensemble, Piedmont Chamber singers and other regional groups, and perform around the nation.
