Maternity Shopping in the Triad

Published:

There comes that dreaded time during pregnancy when you discover your regular pants will no longer zip. As your belly grows, your wardrobe will need to grow too! Thankfully, maternity clothes today are much more fashionable than the big, tent-like smocks our mothers wore. There are lots of cute options to keep you feeling stylish even if you might be feeling a little larger than normal.

There are lots of options available in the Triad for buying maternity clothes where you won't have to spend a fortune. There are several big box and chain retail stores that sell maternity clothes, but don't forget about other options such as the semi-annual kids' consignment sales that take place in the spring and fall at local area preschools and churches. Almost all of these sales offer gently worn maternity clothes at a bargain. You can find listings for these sales around August and March every year at on our consignment page.

Here are some other stores that carry maternity clothing in the Triad:

Motherhood Maternity
Locations at Four Seasons Town Center (Greensboro), Friendly Shopping Center (Greensboro) and Hanes Mall (Winston-Salem). Motherhood Maternity brands are also available at select Triad Babies R Us and Macy's stores.

All Triad Kohl's locations carry Oh Baby! A Motherhood brand.

Old Navy at Wendover Place in Greensboro and at Hanes Mall in Winston-Salem.

All Triad Target stores.

Once Upon a Child, a consignment store offering gently worn maternity clothes, with locations in Greensboro and Winston-Salem.

MiMi Maternity at Friendly Center in Greensboro.
