For many Triad families, this weekend is all about Halloween. So in the spirit of the holiday, here are 6 Triad-area events with “Halloween” in the title:

Halloween Dance Party, Friday, Greensboro

Enjoy a super silly dance party. Costumes are welcome.

Friends of the Lewisville Library Halloween Party, Friday, Lewisville

Enjoy a howling good time.

Legends and Lanterns Halloween Tours, Friday, Winston-Salem

Cross the haunted covered bridge if you dare. Once on the other side, a costumed guide will light the way by lantern through Salem’s nighttime streets.

Halloween Safari, Friday, High Point

No tricks, but plenty of treats await kids and adults on PEC’s trails. Meet costumed “animals” who tell amazing facts about their lives up close and personal as you make your way through the darkened woods.

Halloween Costume Party, Saturday, High Point

Bring your little pumpkins in their costumes for an afternoon of fun, music and food. Ages K-grade 5.

Discovery Concert for Kids: Halloween, Saturday, Winston-Salem

There’s no better place to celebrate Halloween than with the Symphony at a Discovery Concert for Kids. From tolling bells to ghostly woodwinds, screeching strings to belching brass, the symphony orchestra was made to give you thrills.

And don't forget, SciWorks is planning a special "treat" for costumed kids 10 and younger!
