Cedarock Park to Host Kids' Fishing Rodeo

Get your rod and reel ready for Cedarock Park’s annual kids' Spring Fishing Rodeo to be held April 1 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. This year the competition is open to any type of rod and reel, and the event will be timed to add some excitement. The park will provide worms. This is a FREE event for kids ages 5-12.

Event Timeline

9:30 a.m. — Check-in.
10 a.m.  A horn will sound, and the competition will begin.
Noon The horn will sound again signaling the end of the competition. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish and 1st-3rd place will be awarded for the most fish caught.
