Carolina Theatre of Greensboro Announces 9th Annual Carolina Kids Club

The Carolina Theatre of Greensboro is pleased to announce the 9th Annual Carolina Kids Club, made possible with generous support from the Lincoln Financial Group. Each G-rated, family-friendly, animated Disney movie will be preceded by exciting, kid-focused, live stage entertainment from Mad Science and lobby fun from the Music Academy of NC’s musical petting zoo.

Carolina Kids Club doors open at 9 a.m.; stage games and live entertainment begin at 9:30 a.m.; movies begin between 10:15 10:30 a.m., with events ending by noon.

July 19 – 'The Princess and the Frog'

From the city of New Orleans comes a modern twist on a classic tale, featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana, a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again and a fateful kiss that leads them both on an adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana. 2009; 1 hour, 38 minutes.

July 26 – '101 Dalmatians'

Pongo and Perdita have a litter of 15 puppies. Cruella De Vil takes a fancy to the pups, and wants to get hold of them, as well as more pups, to make herself a lovely Dalmatian skin coat. When Cruella gets some thugs to kidnap the pups and hold them at her mansion, will Pongo and Perdita find them in time? 1961; 1 hour, 20 minutes.

Aug. 2 – 'The Little Mermaid'

Mermaid princess Ariel will do anything to walk on dry land and meet her true love Prince Eric, despite her father King Trion’s objections. But when the deal she strikes with the evil sea witch Ursula backfires, Ariel find herself in trouble only she can fix. 1989; 1 hour, 32 minutes.

Aug. 9 – 'Monsters Inc.'

Lovable Sulley and Mike Wazowski are the top scare team at Monsters, Inc., the scream-processing factory in Monstropolis. When a little girl named Boo wanders into their world, though, monsters are scared silly, and it's up to Sulley and Mike to get her back home. 2001; 1 hour, 32 minutes.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Daytime parking is available in the parking deck located at the corner of Washington and Greene Streets and in metered spaces around the theater.
