Description:

The Girls Inc. Winston Salem Summer Camp Experience has been developed around research-based Girls Inc. curricula following the Strong, Smart and Bold model used by affiliates across the country. All programs and activities are compensatory and intentional in nature and will allow girls to develop an affinity for a wide variety of seamless, activity-based and inclusive activities. All camp programming will fall into one of the following categories: * Strong (Nutrition and Wellness based)* Smart (Educational & STEAM based)* Bold (Life Skills based) This year, our campers will arrive at the Gateway YWCA and be bused daily to the sprawling campus at The Children's Home on Reynolda Rd. where girls will enjoy the best of indoor and outdoor activities! This camp is open to all girls ages 7-12! Sign up for as many weeks as you would like! Dream BIGEach week will be themed to a specific Girls Inc. interest and will provide hands-on learning using activity-based projects and field trips. Girls will be encouraged to dream BIG and embrace the experiences allowing them to broaden their knowledge-base and develop new passions. Please note that all field trips are subject to change based on weather and availability, but will maintain an appropriate match to the camp theme. Girls Inc.
