A varied bouquet of dance showcasing the diverse talents of UNCSA’s ballet and contemporary students. The program features Fokine’s Les Sylphides, a touchstone of romantic ballet set to Chopin, along with Martha Graham’s early work, Panorama; while Sasha Janes, Associate Artistic Director and Resident Choreographer of the Charlotte Ballet, unveils Pas de Deux. The program will conclude with the marvelous Carnival of the Animals choreographed by Alexei Kremnev, Artistic Director of Joffrey II, and set to Saint-Saens’ memorable score.
