UNCSA faculty artists Oskar Espina-Ruiz, clarinet, and Allison Gagnon, piano, present a program that explores the rhapsodic style in works from Spain, France, Germany and the United States, some of which were originally written for violin and piano. Works by Granados, Debussy, Schumann and Kenneth Frazelle search for the evocative and epic in music. The world premiere of a work for clarinet solo by a UNCSA composition student completes the program.
