5 Places to Stargaze in the Triad

The NC Science Festival begins Friday. End the week with a beautiful view of the constellations. Join stargazers across the state on Friday night as they celebrate the celestial during this statewide Star Party. Five venues throughout the Triad are hosting stargazing gatherings for this statewide celebration. 

Cline Observatory
601 E. Main St., Jamestown at 8:30 p.m.

Greensboro Science Center
4301 Lawndale Drive, GSO at 8:30 p.m.

Hanging Rock State Park
1790 Hanging Rock Park Road, Danbury at 8 p.m.

Lake Mackintosh Marina
2704 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington at 7:30 p.m.

Pilot Mountain State Park
1792 Pilot Knob Park Road, Pinnacle at 7:30 p.m. 

Be sure to bring binoculars and dress warmly.
