Cindy Silver, Dietitian

Cindy Silver is a local, registered dietitian who has been practicing for more than 25 years. She owns a nutrition education, resource and counseling business called Market Basket Nutrition. Silver is the author of Piedmont Parent’s monthly blog Nibbles of Nutrition.

The nutrition education that Silver provides is typically hands-on and always fun. Her grocery store tours for adults and kids are definitely a cool way to learn. And, her community presentations really get you thinking about making good nutrition a top priority in your own life and for those you care about the most.

Silver lives with her husband in Winston-Salem and her 21-year-old son is a senior at Appalachian State University in Boone. In her spare time, Cindy enjoys walking, gardening, healthy cooking, and kids!
