We're hosting our first annual Moms@Work luncheon this year, a great opportunity to network, hear an inspiring speaker and recognize the Piedmont's companies that are part of our list of the top 50 family-friendly companies in the state.
The event will be held September 14, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons. Sharon Decker, of The Satisfied Life, is our featured speaker. Click here for more information and to order your tickets.
One of our favorite family-friendly events is just around the corner. Downtown Winston-Salem will host the Bookmarks Book Festival this year on Saturday, September 11. Look for our table in the kid's corral, where we'll have a fun art activity and lots of great information to pass along to parents.
 It's become an annual tradition in the Piedmont, and a great outlet for our kids' creativity. Each year we host a writing contest and an annual reception for all kids who enter.
