"High Point’s Furniture Heritage."

Summary: This interactive exhibit will feature furniture, machinery, photographs, memorabilia and video. The exhibit will examine the history of the relationship between the furniture industry and the people of High Point and will offer a unique perspective on the history of furniture manufacturing in our area. Free. Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sunday 1-4:30 p.m. Closed Mondays and major holidays.

Daily Keeper Talks in Animal Discovery.

Summary: Keeper talks are formal and informal presentations for visitors given by the animal keeper staff with one or more animals several times daily. These presentations usually involve animal enrichment and may or may not include food enrichment. Indiana Bones and Survival Science Spectacular.

Summary: Indiana Bones shows how putting the knowledge of science to work has gotten him out of some pretty tough jams and has helped to save his life. Survival Science Spectacular is an exciting story told to us through fun and amazing demonstrations. Free with museum admission, adults, $8; ages 3-13, $7; ages 2 and under, free. Monday-Friday 11 a.m., 1 p.m and 3 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
